My grandmother turned 96 yesterday.
My mother, who trekked to Minnesota to celebrate, sent pictures from her I-phone.
I forwarded my favorite picture of Mom’s pics to my Facebook account.
My cousin and I cross-connected via Mom’s email, me reaching out to see how much longer he’ll be interning at NPR in D.C.
No voices heard.
This is the new silence.
